Life has been pretty fantastic. Today I was reminded of the saying, "If you want to get something done, ask a busy person." There is certainly something to be said for this idea, because the more I have on my list, the more I seem to accomplish, which is boggling but what can I say? I am thankful to say a lot of things have been moving in my world, from a new job to new backyard garden plans (spring has sprung, everyone, there are bunnies in my yard to prove it) to new drawings to new articles and new show opportunities.
Narrating my daily artistic ventures has fallen on the priority list, but I'm here, I'm here!
Tomorrow, my paintings at Urban Farmhouse will come down and preparations for the next show will begin. For the months of June and July, my works will be on display at 9WG Studios, a production studio in Richmond (a studio that records music. How fitting!) More information on that as the date nears.
Lastly, but not least-ly, are you in the mood for some good art reads? There is a lot of moving-and-shaking at the new-and-improved Richmond Arts Review site. Check out the new articles, for sure, but also note the new layout! Cheers to graphic design prowess!
And cheers to the weekend, whatever it holds.
